Because you need more recs from my life.
Duolingo
As I mentioned in a previous Blog Challenge — Day 19: Let’s Learn — that I am learning how to speak Danish. I’m using the app Duolingo, and it’s working well.
Learning a new language is a little tough, but I’m getting there. I’m not used to having each word not having a word; in Danish, some words are combined with other words to make one word. So one Duolingo lesson at a time.
Unni Compost Bags
I try to be zero-waste where ever I can be. We still produce waste in our house; we have not got there yet. We do have little trashcans throughout our home for any waste we might have.
We use UNNI 100% Compostable Bags in the trashcans around our home. They are compostable, non-toxic, and durable! They are great for our bathroom trashcans! We use compostable cotton swabs, and that’s mostly what we use the UNNI 100% Compostable Bags for.
One note, DO NOT BUY THESE if you do not plan to use them within 9-months. They will start breaking down.

Shani Silver
There is nothing wrong with being single. The world we live in continually tells us we need to find a mate and have children. Not everyone needs one or either of those to live a successful life. Others need to find the value in you, as you independently.
I love Shani Silver! She gives great advice on how to navigate being single. From frustrating people who continue to push you to need to find someone, eating alone at a restaurants, and many other great pointers.
So head over to TikTok and give her a follow. Also, Shani is also the author of A Single Revolution: Don’t look for a match. Light one.
Kinder Cloth Wet Bags
If you travel, go swimming, or just need a bag to place your dirty clothing you should check out Kinder Cloth wet bags! We absolutely love them. We use them as our dirty clothing bags when we travel. We use them to hold our wet swimsuits and towels after we swim.
They come in great designs, double-lined with a waterproof material called PUL, hold several items, and can take the weight of wet items.

Condado Queso
If you live near a Condado you need to check out their queso. I don’t know if it’s authentic, but it’s super tasty! We’ll go to Condado to have chips with queso and hang out in their outdoor space. I think it’s pretty tasty, even better with one of their blood-orange margs.
Apple AirTags
Do you lose items often? Have a kid who wants to be independent, but is wary of them wandering off? You should check out Apple AirTags!
I lose my keys at least 2 or 3 times a day, the worst part is I use them twice a day if that. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve left my keys at the store. With Apple AirTags I can easily find my keys within seconds. No longer tearing apart my house! I also lose my wallet often, so I have a wallet Apple AirTags holder.
Now, about wandering children. Children like to play at the park on their own, they don’t want you trailing after them. At certain ages, they like to look at the toys without you. Best investment, Apple AirTags! One mom I saw sowed one into her child’s shoes. Since Zoie never wears the same pair of shoes she uses a nylon bracelet or a waterproof clip. It depends on where and what we’re doing that day.
Credit Karma
Adulting is hard. We all know that. I’m 31, almost 32 years old, and I still do not fully understand the game of credit scores. Credit Karama makes the game a little easier to understand.
Credit Karama also monitors your credit score, so if someone tries to apply for a credit card or you try to apply for a loan — you’ll be alerted instantly. Also, you can see old items on your report. Thankfully I did this a couple of years ago; I found out I had a Lowes credit card and a Comcast bill in my name that was not mine.
