Who doesn’t love a good rec?

I do enjoy giving a good rec, especially when I can write a whole blog post about a single item. But I also really liked writing Day 20: 10 Rec You Wanna Give. So I thought, why not another series besides 21 items? How about 10 Recs?

So here we go with the new series!

  1. PatPat
This is a great site to order kids’ clothing and shoes, but at a reasonable price. They also sell a lot of matching family outfits, swimsuits, and PJs.

Use code IMPACTCOUPON to receive $15 off your first order.
  2. Babyganics Sunscreen Spray
Let’s be honest no one likes rubbing sunscreen on children! A number of sunscreen on the market have long-term effects on the screen on your skin and are also causing an issue with the coral reef[1]. Babyganics Sunscreen Spray is a mineral-based sunscreen so it is gentle on the skin and okay for the coral reefs. This sunscreen also does not have a weird smell, applies easily, waterproof for up to 80 minutes! Perfect for all parents of small kids.
  3. MathLink Cubes
If you’re working on math at home MathLink Cubes are the best visual aid to help your child. Also, they link together easily to help with grouping and storage.
  4. Kiwi Crate
Zoie’s had multiple friends who’ve had Kiwi Crate, and they mentioned them on Good Mythical Morning. So it was time to finally get Zoie one. Each crate comes with a buildable activity, book, and activities to do with the item you just built. It’s a whole month of fun if you remember to do them. We sometimes forget, and I’ve been saving them for summertime.

Use code TiffanyDS1 to receive 50% off your first box.
  5. FENUN Mosquito Trap
Spring is turning into summer, and that means lots of mosquitos and gnats! Our house has a lot of plants, and we also have fruit and vegetables sitting out. Plants and produce are all the breading ground for grants and mosquitos. I purchased the FENUN Mosquito Trap for our kitchen, and it works GREAT

Also, it’s light and easily movable. If we’re sitting on the porch I can easily unplug the, and plug it in on our porch to keep the mosquitos and bugs away.
  6. KindBar Build Your Own Snack Box
We eat all kinds of KindBars in our house! We love the Healthy Grains Dark Chocolate Chunk Bars & Kids Bars Chewy Honey Oat! If you eat just a couple here and there the snack box is not worth it, however, if you eat a lot of Kind products doing their subscription box is totally worth it.

Use code MORESNACKS to receive 15% off your first box.
  7. Mueller Austria Juicer Ultra Power
We always receive pears and apples in our Imperfect Food box. A lot of the times we receive too many, and I’ll make them into juice. The Mueller Austria Juicer Ultra Power helps us turn fruits and vegetables into juice quickly, and keep our waste down. Also, we either place the pulp in our compost bins, or we’ll make birdseed cakes.

Oh, and if we have too much juice we’ll pour them in our ice cube trays.
  8. DOQAUS Ice Cube Trays
This is a great segment into the DOQAUS Ice Cube Trays! Like I said above, I’ll make juice and fruit into vegetables and freeze them into ice cubes. The DOQAUS Ice Cube Trays come with lids for easy stacking. The bottoms are silicon which makes removing the ice cubes easy to pop out.

They also really help keep food waste down! Before foods start going bad I can steam vegetables, puree fruit, etc. Vegetable cubes can be added to food for flavor or vitamins, fruit cubes can be added to yogurt for smoothies. So all and all great!
  9. Kinder Cloth Diapers
A new line of super cute cloth diapers has extra snaps to help with blowouts and a family-owned small business. Kinder Cloth Diapers sells more than cloth diapers books, toys, bath bombs, and more!
  10. Worm Factory Worm Composter
I’ve been trying hard to keep our waste down, aiming for Zero Waste. The Worm Factory Worm Composter helps keep our waste down. It’s easy to set up and maintain. My only issue is that you need much more dirt than is provided, so you have to purchase dirt from your local nursery along with worms.

But, we always have food scraps to add to our composter. Instead of overfilling our compost we can cut up the pieces and place them in the freezer, and when space frees up we can add them to a layer of the compost bin. If you’re starting with composting or are looking to upgrade the Worm Factory Worm Composter is a great purchase.
