You know how I love a good rec, so check out these 10 Recs I think you’ll need in your life.

As a reminder that these recs are not paid and/or sponsored.

So let’s get on with it 10 Recs You Need In Your Life.

Shark Lightweight Cordless Pet Stick Vacuum

I vacuum every single day, with heavy traffic in and out of our house, along with living in a dusty area we absolutely have too! If our house isn’t vacuumed every day they’d be pretty dirty. With that being said I don’t want to get out my corded vacuum every evening to vacuum, it’s too bulky. We had a super cheap cordless vacuum, and it just did not pickup.

Finally, one night while looking through Amazon Outlet I found the Shark Lightweight Cordless Pet Stick Vacuum on sale! I guess that’s two recs in one! Sidetrack, sorry. The Shark has great sucking power — no pun intended — for hardwood and carpets. Not only does it work great inside, it works great vacuuming out your car.

The canister that holds the dust and dirt is a little small, but perfect for a standard size living room if you vacuum every day. It also works great for spills of dirt, confetti, cereal, and just about anything else kids can throw on the floor.

My only complaint about the Shark is that the battery does not last longer than 30 minutes. I’ve talked to others who have purchased the same vacuum — not from Amazon Outlet — and they stated the same thing. Again, I only use this for spills or evening clean ups.

Biz Collective

Biz Collective is a Pittsburgh-based group that supports women-owned businesses. They offer workshops, tutorials, events, and various other resources.

Moreover, Biz Collective promotes member businesses through their newsletter, social media, and other platforms. They not only assist in business promotion but also maintain a directory of members, allowing people to easily search for the services they need

RENPHO Eye Massage

Cold and Flu season is here, that means head congestion! You need to purchase a RENPHO Eye Massage to help relieve your head congestion. Not only does it help when you have a head or cold, it also helps for sinus infections and migraines.

I have really bad migraines, the only thing that helps is heat and pressure. The Eye Massager has been a lifesaver for me, especially the heat only setting.

Airdog X3 Air Purifier

Zoie and I both have really bad dust allergies. I also suffer from extreme pollen allergies, I’m pretty much allergic to the outside, PINE TREES will be the death of me.

With that being said I purchased the Airdog X3 Air Purifier for our downstairs, and I will have to say it has really helped make a difference in our living room. The purifier has a built in sensor to detect the VOC air levels, and can ramp up if needed.

With that being said, if you have a kid who makes Easy Mac without the water and the WHOLE downstairs is filled with smoke, the Airdog X3 Air Purifier will help clear the smoke and the smell.

My only complaint — this isn’t really a complaint about the Airdog X3 Air Purifier — is how often I have to clean the purifier. Airdog states it should only have to be cleaned every 6 months, we have to clean ours every 3 months. Again, this is not Airdogs issue, we live in a very heavy dust area.

The Airdog X3 Air Purifier is very easy to clean; the parts can either be cleaned with a wet wipe or submerged in water. No need to buy expensive filters that aren’t biodegradable.

The Baker Connection

Are you getting married or need to plan a party? You need to reach out to Mrs. Erica Baker with The Baker Connection. I’ve been working with Erica to plan Zoie’s 10th birthday party and she has been amazing to work with, has a large to-go case for any party emergency, and knows just about every vendor in the area.

You have to take a look at Erica’s portfolio; from her flower arrangements, centerpieces to table settings she is the perfect event planner.

HERs

I am part of the 10% of Americans who does not have health insurance, and $340 a month is definitely not in my budget. With HERs I am able to still afford going to therapy and my Zoloft.

Not only do they offer therapy with prescription medicine for mental health, they also offer a variety of other medical help. From birth control, acne cream, custom shampoo, and much more.

Personal Days Hard Seltzers

I am not a fan of Seltzers, they taste like water with Flinstone vitamins crushed up with inside them.

However, Personal Days Hard Seltzers is the exception. Not just because it’s made here in Pittsburgh, but because it taste delicious and made with vodka. I’m hoping with their new production they’ll make more flavors, my favorite flavor is the grapefruit.

With the great flavor of Personal Days Hard Seltzers you don’t have to add in extra vodka, it taste fine on it’s own.

Five CBD Gummies

Five CBD Gummies effectively help calm your brain. Over the past couple of months, I’ve had the opportunity to try various gummies and chocolates, and I particularly enjoy using Five CBD Gummies to unwind. They offer a balanced effect, allowing you to remain functional, get work done, handle chores, and live life.

While a subscription service can save money, I’m personally not inclined towards it because I prefer using coupons each month. Signing up for a subscription with a coupon initially may seem beneficial, but the price typically increases thereafter.

I highly recommend using the coupon code ‘LEAFLY420‘ to receive a 40% discount on your order, along with free shipping!

Please, under no circumstances, consume any mind-altering substances while taking care of children, individuals with disabilities, or senior citizens. Additionally, refrain from operating cars, go-karts, or any other machinery that could potentially cause harm to yourself or others. I am not liable for any consequences or incidents that may occur to you or anyone else.

Mercari

Do you have items around the house that you no longer use that are in a great condition? It’s time to sell those items on Mercari.

Mercari is an online selling platform that verifies the sellers before they are allowed to sell. I’ve been selling on Mercari since 2015, and I would have to say it’s one of the better ones with people not wasting your time like Facebook Marketplace.

Not only is Mercari one of the nicer ones to sell on, they make shipping easy with plugging in your weight and package dimensions to provide you with a shipping label. Don’t want to ship, Mercai also offers you local pickups.

My only issue with Mercair is that there are fees, which you should account into your pricing.

Inclusive Aesthetics

Are you looking for laser hair removal, Botox, a back massage, or acne treatment? Look no further than Inclusive Aesthetics, right here in Pittsburgh.

Inclusive Aesthetics, established in 2023 in Dormont, offers a wide array of services catering to everyone—irrespective of race, ethnicity, gender identity, or background. They do not discriminate in providing assistance, a contrast to several spas I’ve visited in the past.

Not only do they provide a wide range of services, but they also offer gender-affirming care, which, sadly, is hard to find in this day and age. They treat everyone with exceptional care. I had the opportunity to experience a massage here, and the therapist has the touch of an angel.

Another aspect I appreciate about Inclusive Aesthetics is that their staff is certified. They are among the four Nationally Certified Estheticians in Pennsylvania. This means you’re not just receiving personal care but certified expertise.

Please also give them a follow on Instagram, they are often posting tips and promos!

I hope you get the chance to check out my 10 new recommendations for you. Please let me know your thoughts on them once you do.
