Who doesn’t love a chill rec here and there?

This one is a little longer, but I want to provide you with the best recs and all the details. So enjoy these 10 chill recs I have to give you.

  1. Bright Cellars
Do I know anything about wine? Absolutely not. However, I’m trying to learn about wine. I’m getting to that age where everyone I know is drinking wine, and I’m the only one who knows nothing about wine. Up until a couple of months ago I thought once you opened a bottle of wine you had to drink the whole bottle.

For those starting — like me — Bright Cellars provides you with a quiz to help you find out what will fit your palate. With that, they box up your wine and send it to your door. Each wine comes with an information card — where is it from, year, what to pair the wine with, how to serve the wine, storing information, etc. It takes the guesswork out, because I didn’t realize you have to even aerate your red wine.

So if you are just starting with wine or a sommelier Bright Cellars is for you. The wine is sent straight to your door.

  2. Pogo
Are you looking to make an extra $5-10 a month from the purchases you’re already making? No, you don’t have to scan your receipts. It’s time to check out Pogo.

All you have to do is link your bank and credit card account, and with your purchases, you’ll start receiving points. The point value is determined by the store in which your purchases were made.

If you are an avid shopper at Amazon, Target, or Walmart this app is made for you. Just link your accounts, and your purchases will receive extra points.

Once you claim your purchases you receive your points, make it to 3,000 points — $3.00 — you can cash out with PayPal or Venmo.
  3. Squatty Potty – Simple
Everybody Poops; we all know that. However, sometimes that poop just doesn’t want to come out, and we start straining. Straining isn’t good because that leads to hemorrhoids. No one wants hemorrhoids.

It’s time for you to stop straining and let it all come out naturally. But, don’t use a stepstool. That’s what I’ve been doing for a very long time, and it was just not as good and taking up too much space in my bathroom.

I finally made the switch to the Squatty Potty – Simple, and let me say I’ll not be going back. First it takes up less room in my bathroom! I’m not tripping over a step stool; it fits snuggly around the toilet. Second, it is at the correct height needed for maximum comfort and angle for doing the deed. Lastly, you’ll save yourself time. It all comes out quicker; yea I’ll still sit in there on my phone, but I’m not worrying about everything coming out. It just comes out, and I can relax. I know TMI ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Do yourself and a favor, make the switch.

  4. Feeding Hannibal Cookbook
By far my favorite cookbook. The detail and easability to follow the recipes. The photography of the recipes, drawings from the food artists, and notes from the set crew are a bonus.

I’ve made a couple of recipes already and I’ll have to say I cannot wait to try more. If you’re not a fan of the Hannibal show the cookbook is still a great asset for several great recipes to try.

Don’t worry, all my recipes are ethically sourced meat 😉

  5. Venmo
Let’s be honest no one carries cash anymore! Not only does it carry many germs, but it’s always annoying to have.

Venmo is an easy way to send money to friends, family, or coworkers. From sending money for bills, event tickets, to snacks in the breakroom it’s easy to do with Venmo.

Link to your debit card or bank account to send and receive money. There is a fee to transfer instantly and a fee if you use a credit card to send money.

If you’re not about fees to transfer money instantly? You can order a Venmo card; free of charge and can be used anywhere they accept Mastercard.

Signup today with my Venmo link and receive $10 added to your account when you send $10.

  6. Jerry
Car insurance can be expesnive, but even more expnsive if you get into an accident without car insurance.

When I bought my new car in July Root wanted to charge me triple my rate. I understand; it was a new car, larger, a moonroof instead of a sunroof, etc. However, that rate was NOT in my budget in any way.

Through an Instagram ad I found out about Jerry. The Jerry app asks you questions about you, your vehicle, and the coverage you need. Then it runs through all the insurance companies out there for the best plan for you.

I was thankful for Jerry; I came out with a full-coverage plan for $98 with Progressive. Today I recommend you download the app and receive a quote, you might be paying too much for car insurance.

Also, Jerry will cancel your old policy for you! Everything is done right there in the app, it’s as simple as pie.
  7. Influenster
Want free items? Looking to buy shampoo, vitamins, etc but want to know what other people think? Better yet have a question you’d like to ask about a product? It’s time for you to download Influenster.

First, who doesn’t like to try out new items, especially for free?! All you have to do is answer questions in different categories every couple of days. You can do this anytime, and it takes less time the more you answer questions. They’ll send you Companies will send you new products; either full size or travel size. You’ll just have to write an honest review on Influenster.

You can see what others are saying about different products and even ask questions. I turn to Influenster when I’m looking for new shampoos, household products, and toy recommendations.
  8. Clue
Periods are the worst, seriously thanks for punishing me for not having a crotch goblin in there.

Anyways, Clue helps you keep track of your periods and everything that comes with them. Track your flow, pains, sleep, poos, cramps, and much more. Keeping track of this information is super helpful if you are currently on birth control or looking to get on birth control.

I’ve been able to share the information with my doctor to help determine if any of my symptoms are due to the birth control I’m on or if it could be something else. Lastly, you’re able to track PMS days and when you’ll be starting your period. All of this tracking is provided for FREE with the app.

The paid version can help you determine ovulation days, long-term period plans, etc. If you’re looking to conceive or trying to determine your long-term female plans it’s worth it.

Osmo is by far the best learning tool on the market. Osmo has so many different games and activities for children of different ages and education levels. Osmo makes learning fun for everyone! From fractions with pizza, phonics with monsters to drawing with Elsa.

Zoie has several fun sets from Osmo; she’s learning to code, be a detective, and opened a pizza shop learning to count money. She enjoys playing with her Osmo, and she’s learning along the way.
