Are you trying to lose weight, move more, or be motivated?

I saw the TikTok — below by @trainingforamazing — and it made me think about the way I have to motivate myself to move more.

In the @trainingforamazing video they talk about how you need to pick a new show — 4 seasons or more — and while you watch this show you work out at the gym. This will help motivate you because you can only watch the show while you work out.

I 100% agree with @trainingforamazing, especially if you’re trying to lose weight, maintain weight, or just try to get fit.

Here is my advice and what I do, it’s similar. I owe a walking treadmill and anytime I want to watch TV I make myself walk on the walking treadmill. This makes sure I get my 30 minutes of exercise in a day, my steps in, and I don’t watch too much tv.

If I like a TV show I will just keep watching, and I won’t move. This past October Zoie and I were really into The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, and I walked for three hours on the treadmill, definitely got my steps in.

I just recently watched Sandman and started watching House of The Dragon. It has worked, I want to watch the show, but I can’t unless I walk while doing it. For me, I’m trying to make sure I move enough and get my steps in. I hate when my Apple Watch tells me I didn’t move enough.
