We had the chance to try out two of Gatwick Games; Goat Lords & What Are The Odds.
With just Zoie and I, games are limited, I’m seriously over Harry Potter Uno… So having the chance to play Goat Lords was a breath of fresh air. Goat Lords is a fun strategy card game; where you need to become the Lord of the Goats! The illustrations on the cards are hilarious; from dragons to farting goats, they add a bit of laughter. The game also does not take too long, up to 30 minutes, depending on who you’re playing with. Zoie likes to think and add numbers in her head. Goat Lords is a great game for kids who like to add and make pairs. We’ve not played the game with others; just the two of us. I can see this being a fun game playing with friends or on a date night.
We also had the chance to try What Are The Odds. I will note that this is a very fun game, however, we have not had a chance to play this more than twice. This game requires a group of people; so this is meant for larger families or a group of friends. Zoie absolutely loves this game, she loves being dared to do wild things. The goal of this game is to get your opponent to do wild dares, if you do you receive a victory point. This game can get a little wild, but a lot of fun. I recommend What Are The Odds for anyone who has family gatherings or game nights! It will get weird, so be prepared.
