I had the opportunity to enjoy the Oogie Boogie Countdown To Halloween, in which I had the chance to paint myself! Pak Rat Creations with all the pieces I need and I was able to go to town on painting my own Oogie Boogie.
Another thing I did like about the DIY Oogie Boogie, I was able to select the way I’d like the countdown dice to stick to Oogie Boogie. I painted my dice, then on the back of each dice I placed a soft Velcro square. Then on my Oogie Boogie, I added the rough Velcro square. The Velcro square makes for an easy on and off for when changing the days. The Oogie Boogie set did come with a chest — which you can paint yourself — to hold the dice. The reason I was happy I was able to add my sticking method — I did not want magnets, nor did I want the rough side on the back of the dice. The rough side of the Velcro square would have caused scratching of the dice with the rough Velcro square on the back, possibly scrapping away the paint.
The Honeycomb Earring Holder is great for Zoie. We can hang her errings on the wall instead of another stand on her bookshelf taking up space. She is easily able to put her earrings away and take them out when she is interested.
