Are you looking for an eco-friendly laundry detergent that works?

There are so many “eco-friendly” laundry detergents. The majority of them still have chemicals in them, are out of everyone’s budget, do not clean your laundry, leave behind a weird film, and/or come in plastic containers we can’t get rid of.

In the past couple of months, Detergent Strips have been popping up for me to try out. They are strips of detergent that you place in your washer with your clothes — like a laundry pod. You can use a full sheet or a strip of the detergent, depending on the load. But, do they work? Are they eco-friendly? Will they leave behind a film?

If you’re using Tide Free & Gental Pods — they are 23¢ a load, also come in a plastic container, and are full of chemicals harmful to skin.

Do they leave a film though? No, they do not leave behind a weird film. Since Lazy Coconut sheets do not have paraben or plastic they do not leave behind a layer of film on your items.
