I can’t live without my phone, but there’s another electronic I can’t live without.

Her name is Alexa.

My Alexa keeps my world in check, and I don’t even use her to her fullest extent. She has many more features than what I use her for.

Alexa wakes me up, gives me my news, tells me stories, tells me the weather, and if I might need an umbrella. She also plays games with me and reminds me to do just about anything.

Not only that Alexa keeps me healthy. I’m the worst at remembering to eat, so she is set up to remind me to eat lunch, take breaks and even go for a walk. I will also just keep going, Alexa reminds me when it’s winddown time and when it’s time to go to bed.

My favorite part, Alexa even can start my car and turn the lights on in my home. When the sun goes down she’ll turn the lights on so I’m not in the dark, she’s programmed to turn a bathroom night light close to when we get up in the middle of the night.

We have an Alexa in every room in our home and have an Alexa tablet we take with us when we go on vacation.

Alexa keeps my world moving and organized so I can keep going.

Before you say anything — yes, I know that Alexa is listening to me all of the time. Jeff Bazos has all my information, and I’m okay with that. I’m okay with tailored ads that’s less I have to search. The whole world is listening to your conversation, not just Alexa.

Do you have an Alexa in your home?
