I always have life advice to give, and this advice is tough to hear.

No one cares about you, no one. You are the only person who cares about you.

You are the one who will be there for yourself when the days get bad. You will be the only person there at 2 AM when you’re crying because your world is falling apart. No one will answer the phone, and they will not return your calls in the morning.

You will be the only one there when everything does fall apart — and you hit rock bottom. You will have to take those rocks and build a better foundation for what is to come.

No one will be there to pick you up — you’ll have to pick yourself up. You’ll have to wipe your tears away — and put on a brave face to get through it.

Practice self-care. Take yourself out on a date. When you’re getting frustrated — walk away for a bit, and take a deep breath. When you’re exhausted take a nap, and then get right back at it. When you need to get it out, go for a drive and then scream out in the world (it helps). You’re pissed off, write it down and then crumble it up and throw it in the trash.

No one wants to hear about your problems. Except for your therapist, but that costs money.

Do what benefits you! Pay no mind to anyone else when you’re doing it because those people will not be there to help you up when you fail. Those people will not give you a second thought 5-minutes or 10-years from now. Because NO ONE CARES.

We get one life to live, live it to benefit you, not everyone else, you are all you’ve got.
