Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, and The Baking Room is baking up a storm to prepare.

The Baking Room is a vegan and gluten-free bakery — based out of New Jersey — baking delicious treats for every occasion. From mini cakes in jars, oreo brownies, crumble bars, hand-dipped brownie truffles, whole cakes to assorted donuts to name a few items.

I recently had the chance to try a number of The Baking Rooms delicious desserts, and I was not disappointed. While I’m not a vegan and I am not gluten-free — I’m always up for trying new foods from every corner of the food pyramid*.

Howard Brown — the owner of The Baking Rom — packs in a lot of flavors into these desserts. Each dessert was better than the last one. I very much enjoyed the oreo brownie and sprinkle donut. But, by far my favorite was the red velvet muffin.
