Broccoli, Cheddar and Bacon, some of my favorite foods!
Why not combine them together in the slow cooker to make a delicious soup? Enjoyable on a winter or rainy day.
Ingredients
- 1 Small Head of Broccoli
- 4 cups vegetable or beef stock
- 1/3 cup of Flour
- 1 cup of Almond Milk
- 2 cups of Shredded Cheddar
- 1 tablespoon Minced Garlic
- 1 slab of cooked bacon
- Pinch of Salt
- Pinch of Pepper

- Using your knife and cutting board, cut the head of broccoli into small pieces

- Set off to the side
- Using a clean knife and cutting board, cut the bacon into small squares
- Set off to the side
- In the slow cooker combine: stock, milk, minced garlic, flour, salt, and pepper
- Mix with a whisk until the flour has dissolved
- Now mix in your chopped broccoli & bacon into the mixture
- Place the lid on the slow cooker and cook for 4 hours
I like to serve with handful of shredded cheese on top with a side of Mason Dixie Cheddar Biscuit Co.
