60% of the human body is made up of water[1].

We need to make sure our body maintains that 60%; to keep us running at full speed.

To stay on top of replenishing your body you should check out The Hydro Jug!

The Hydro Jug is a water jug that keeps you hydrated! The Hydro Jug comes in multiple colors, designs, materials, and sizes.

Not only does The Hydro Jug come with a variety of options, but they also have a number of great accessories to maintain your hydration. Sleeves to keep your water cooler, and the pesky sweating. Their Sleeves even come in a number of patterns, colors, and materials. Straws in a number of colors, so you can mix and match with your Hydro Jug.

I had the chance to try out the Neon Pro Hydro Jug with the Black Pro Sleeve.

Before we get into what I think about the Hydro Jug, let me preface my water drinking habits.

I am 100% the worst at drinking water. Do I own a WHOLE cabinet full of water bottles? Absolutely. Do I use them? No, maybe for a week or two, and then I forget about them.

I work from home and have access to water all day. I have a mini-fridge in my office with a filtered water pitcher. I have multiple reusable water bottles in my fridge downstairs, I’ll still forget to drink water.

The Hydro Jug has made it one month in my house and has been thoroughly used. So that’s progress in my eyes. First, let’s start with the Neon Pro Hydro Jug. This Hydro Jug can fit 73 oz of water! Between Zoie and I — we will go through one or three refills of this Hydro Jug! It’s easy to remove the lid for ease of adding ice and refilling. If not adding ice — I’ll remove the straw from the spout and fill it there.

I think the big sell here is that there is a straw. The straw fits nice in the spout and is flexible for the spout to shut with the straw within the Hydro Jug.

We’ve had a couple of issues in the car with the Hydro Jug leaking out the top of the spout when not sat upright. We’ve not had any issues with the Hydro Jug when it is left upright or on the shoulder strap.

We’ve tried the Hydro Jug with and without the sleeve. I will have to say I like the sleeve on the Hydro Jug. I feel as though the water does stay cool longer. I also like the shoulder strap to the sleeve to carry when out and about.

One thing to note when buying a Hydro Jug sleeve it does smell when you first open them! Like all other products made from neoprene, you must air it out. I placed mine in a reusable zip bag with lavender, and the smell was instantly gone.

In the end, I do like the Hydro Jug. I want to purchase a stainless steel Hydro Jug. The plastic Hydro Jug is great for at-home, hikes, and car rides. I’ve seen multiple TikTok videos of moms filling their stainless steel jugs with ice water to take on road trips when they can’t stop, taking to the pool, park, and sporting games to refill kids’ water bottles.

One more question you might have, how do you wash the Hydro Jug? The one I have — Neon Pro Hydro Jug — is dishwasher safe. The Hydro Jug is made from food-grade polypropylene. The same material that the majority of your Tupperware has been created from. I do not place my Hydro Jug in the dishwasher. I use Bottle Bright cleaning tablets. Fill your Hydro Jug with hot water, drop a Bottle Bright cleaning tablet, and let sit for 30 minutes. Empty and rinse with clean water.

For the good stuff. Hydro Jug offers free shipping on all orders $50+ in the US and Canada. Click this link to receive $10 for your first order with Hydro Jug, no coupon code is necessary.

Every human body is different[2]. Some require more water intake throughout the day due to exercise, medications, etc. While others may need less from medications, food intake, etc. To find out how much water you need check out The Hydro Jug’s Hydration Calculator by clicking here.
