Are you looking for a sustainable, plastic-free, and eco-friendly teeth cleaning option?
Then you should look into the Kaylaan brand toothpaste tablets.
You start by ordering a 90 toothpaste tablet tin. When you start running low on tablets you order a refill pack, and you have the choice between 90 and 180 tablets.
Kaylaan offers more than mint — they offer six flavors; mint, neem, cinnamon, watermelon, blueberry, and strawberry. Kaylaan also offers the option with or without fluoride options. You can also set up the refills on a 3-month subscription schedule! That’s 270 toothpaste tablets never run out again.
All of the refill packets come in a compostable package. Once you’ve poured your toothpaste tablets into their tin you can throw the package in your compost bin.
I’ve had the chance to try multiple toothpaste powders and tablets. I have to say that I like the toothpaste tablets over the toothpaste powder. The toothpaste tablets do not cause a mess, especially with children. Also, the toothpaste tablets you pop in your mouth, chew, and brush. Kaylaan also offers the option with or without fluoride options.
We had the chance to try the mint, neem, blueberry, and cinnamon Kaylaan toothpaste tablets. What do we think?
Zoie still is not a fan of mint, so mint and neem were out for her. She liked the option of just poping the tooth tablet in; less work and trouble for getting the sink messy. However, she was not a fan of blueberry flavor — she said it was nasty. She said that the cinnamon was okay, but she would like to try the strawberry.
The mint toothpaste tablet was the winner in my book. The tablet was not overpowering with the mint flavoring and gave me a clean minty feel. I’m not a fan of cinnamon-flavored anything; my mouth felt clean, but I had to re-brush my teeth with the neem toothpaste tablet to get the cinnamon flavor out of my mouth. If cinnamon is your flavor, this toothpaste tablet is for you. Again, it was not overpowering, I just do not like cinnamon.
The neem toothpaste tablet was my runner-up, not overpowering but still had a floral taste. As for Zoie’s least favorite toothpaste tablet — blueberry — I honestly didn’t taste anything. It did give my toothpaste foam a cool purple hint, but that was about it. My teeth felt clean afterward but were flavorless to me.
Not only does Kaylaan sell toothpaste tablets, but they also sell bamboo toothbrushes. Even better, they sell an electric bamboo toothbrush! WIth refill heads start at $25 and are compostable! I will be ordering one within the next couple of weeks, so be on the lookout for a review on the electric bamboo toothbrush.
The Kaylaan toothpaste tablets are FDA cleared, B Corp Certified, and hold 8 other certifications.
Kaylaan also offers FREE SHIPPING on orders over $30, along with free returns. Use the code EARTH to receive 15% off your first order.
