I didn’t jump on the hot cocoa bomb trend last year.
So when the opportunity presented itself — from Ally’s Arts — to try these trendy new treats — I thought to myself why not?
Zoie & I dressed up in bear hoodies and taste-tested four of Ally’s Arts hot coca bombs; Cookies N’ Cream, Andes Mint, Salted Caramel, and Peppermint.
I did have to YouTube how exactly you were to do a hot cocoa bomb; I didn’t know if I was to drop the hot coca bomb into the milk or pour the milk over top the hot coca bomb. Either way works as long as the bomb melts. We used our brand new trusty OFOOR Milk Frother and poured the milk over top.
The milk frother heats to a drinkable state, so the chocolate didn’t melt right away. But, it did melt from the bottom — leaving the powder to come out the bottom and marshmallows to float to the top. With a stir of the spoon, the powder and flavoring was all mixed and ready to drink.
Zoie & I both agreed that we enjoyed the Andes Mint the best; we’re big mint chocolate ice cream fans. Followed by Peppermint, Cookies N’ Cream, and last Salted Carmel.
We’re big hot cocoa fans; enjoying a warm cup on cold rain days — as it has been — or snowy days. These will be a great addition to our winter; just throw the bomb in a cup and pour milk. No cutting a packet open, or measuring cocoa powder and sugar.
If you’re in the market for hot cocoa bombs; either for yourself or as a nice gift box addition you should check Ally’s Arts shop.
Also, Ally’s Arts has a number of other great flavors to choose from. This year Ally’s Arts added three new flavors to the shop; Lucky Charms, Chocolate Covered Strawberry, and Coffee! I cannot wait to place an order for a coffee hot cocoa bomb!
What you really want to know; Ally’s Arts offers FREE SHIPPING on orders over $35! No one wants to pay to ship, at least I know I don’t. Hot Cocoa Bombs are between $5.15-6.00; so make yourself up a little gift box of a couple of hot cocoa bombs you want to try or send a nice gift box to a friend.
