Summer’s here, and when it’s not raining enough to fill subway stations, it’s ungodly HOT!

To help cool down from this ungodly heat — you can try; sprinklers, water blasters, and water guns. But nothing is as fun as water balloons! Not those; boring, time-consuming, pops before you tie water balloons! No, this is 2021 — it is time for you to try out Prime Time Toys Hurricane Reusable Water Balloons! 

That’s right, REUSABLE Water Balloons! Our friends at Prime Time Toys sent us over a whole box of fun reusable water toys to use this summer! Their new Hurricane Reusable Water Balloons & Splash Bombs Super Splashers Water Balls, along with their Classic Splash Bomb Combo pack. Needless to say, Zoie was VERY excited, and we spent the whole day throwing these at each other.

At first, the Hurricane Reusable Water Balloons were a little tough to use — until we realized you have to break the seal on both sides of the ball. Once we figured this out it was game on! Each Hurricane Reusable Water Balloon has a clear flap on each side, you push one flap in with your thumb to refill, once refilled throw the Hurricane Reusable Water Balloon at your enemy. They drain easily once they hit your enemy, but it does not hurt them. No welts, or bruises, great for little kids — we used them for ages 5 – 35, and no one was harmed. Highly recommend Hurricane Reusable Water Balloon for your kids or adult summer fun!

The Splash Bombs Super Splashers were super easy to use, you dunk them in water squeeze like a sponge to absorb water, and throw them at your enemy. These do have weight to them once filled and can knock a small child over. We ended up using them with the adults, the kids just squeezed them over each other’s heads. They definitely hold a lot of water and will get your enemy soaked! Another note about the Splash Bombs Super Splashers, they do pick up hair, especially dog hair (as shown in the photo below). In the end, I’d recommend Splash Bombs Super Splashers for your teenagers or adults to play with, not small children.

The Classic Splash Bomb Combo Pack was just as fun as their new Hurricane Reusable Water Balloons & Splash Bombs Super Splashers Water Balls. Just like the Splash Bombs Super Splashers you just dunk them in the water, squeeze, fill and throw. Super simple, they do not collect hair and tons of fun!

My recommendation for playing with these; fill multiple utility tubs full of water, dump your Hurricane Reusable Water Balloons, Splash Bombs Super Splashers Water Balls, and Splash Bombs and let everyone go at it! We use multiple 7-Gallon Flexible Tubs from Target — only $4.00. Target does not have these for purchase on their site — but, you can find them in the storage container isle. See the photo of one below.

For cleaning, I just threw them all in the washer on Rinse & Spin cycle. They came out clean from dirt, hair, grass, etc. I let them air dry in the bin, DO NOT PLACE THEM IN THE DRYER. After about five or six uses I’ll throw them in the washer on the cold cycle with dye-free, fragrance-free laundry soap, and again air dry.

In the end, I highly recommend all these toys. You don’t have to spend hours filling up balloons for them to break on you and no hurting your fingers trying to tie them off. Also, they can be reused over and over again, not a one-time throw!
