Silicon face cleaning brushes are all the rage right now for skin care routines.
From cheap manual handheld silicon facial brushes too expensive three headed silicon brushes, but what’s the best one for you at an affordable price?
I went down a rabbit hole of silicon facial cleaning brushes after writing The Exfoliating Silicone Body Scrubber, and Why You Should Try It! Which one would work for my sensitive skin and didn’t break the bank? I came across the B & G Silicone Facial Cleansing Brush, Soft Sonic Facial Brush with 3 Function Modes, Waterproof Face Scrubber Brush for Deep Cleaning Gentle Exfoliating Blackhead Removing and Massaging. That’s a long name, I know!
But, the B & G Scrubber was in my price range, rechargeable — I could use it in the shower and could work on my sensitive skin. SO, I decided to give the B & G Scrubber a try.
Right off the bat, the B & G Scrubber is very soft, easy to clean, and came with easy-to-understand instructions. I went to plug the B & G Scrubber in with the supplied charger, and I could not plug the charger into the charging space! I had to forcefully shove the connecter into the B & G Scrubber to the point it felt like I was going to break the charger. The B & G Scrubber does charge quickly — and the charge lasts — I leave the B & G Scrubber in my shower after use.
In the end, for only $20, I would recommend the B & G Scrubber, despite the challenge with charging. It works great, the dead skin is easily removed from my face, and I feel much cleaner after using it.
Also, to note, I apply my face cleaners to my face first, massage, and then use the B & G Scrubber. I do not apply my face cleanser to the B & G Scrubber. I found that I didn’t feel as clean and needed more face cleansers. I use the B & G Scrubber every evening at the beginning of my shower, as my shampoo is working.
Two additional recommendations I’d like to add; first 365 Everyday Value, Daily Facial Cleanser. Great for oily and dry faces, while affordable only $6.00 at your local Whole Foods. The second, THAYER’S Alcohol-Free Unscented Witch Hazel Facial Toner with Aloe Vera. I apply this every morning after I brush my teeth to adds a cooling cleanse to my face. Oh, and a third rec, I love using Marley’s Monster face wipes to apply the Facial Toner.
