Today is Giving Tuesday, and this year Giving Tuesday is more important than ever before.

With unemployment numbers rising[1] as we go back into a second lockdown; many families are struggling to keep food on the table and hygiene products in the cabinet.

Today, if you can, please consider donating non-perishables, household and hygiene products to your local food bank. If you are not sure what items are in need, please see a list below.

Also, please note donations do not have to be expensive; $7 pack of toothbrushes, $4 bottle of shampoo, or a $3 box of crackers can mean the world to a family right now.

Monitory donations are also a great way to help. $10 can provide 50 meals[2] & $50 can provide 250 meals[2] with the Greater Area Pittsburgh Food Bank!

So if it’s a $10 monitory or a $4 bottle of shampoo donation please make sure to give today to help a neighbor in need.
