Cleaning supplies can be very expensive, especially eco-friendly cleaners. Not only that, there are different cleaners for every single situation. It’s a tough game out there.
I really wanted to be eco-friendly, but I didn’t like the sticker price that came with the eco-friendly products. So obviously I took to Pinterest and found many options for multipurpose cleaner.
I tried a number of cleaners, but the recipe below I put together has been my ultimate favorite & I’ve been using it for 6 years with great results!
TOOLS
- 2 Gallons of White Vinegar
- 3 32 Fl Oz Hydrogen Peroxide
- 1 32 Fl Oz Natural Lemon Juice
- 1 2.5 Gallon Water Dispenser
- 32 Fl Oz Cleaning Spray Bottle
RECIPE
- Take the top of the water dispenser
- Pour in 1 bottle of hydrogen peroxide
- Pour in 1 gallon of white vinegar
- Pour in 1 bottle of hydrogen peroxide
- Pour in 1 bottle of lemon juice
- Pour in 1 bottle of hydrogen peroxide
- Pour in 1 gallon of white vinegar
- Replace lid on the water dispenser
- Dispense the cleaning solution in the cleaning spray bottle
- Spray areas and wipe down with a microfiber cloth and/or washcloth
This DIY Multipurpose Cleaner works for cleaning the whole house: windows, mirrors, counters, floors, toilets, you name it, you can clean it!
This cleaner also works great for cleaning shower walls! Fill a Scotch-Brite Dishwand with the solution and add in a tablespoon of free and clear dish soap, shake a bit and wipe down the shower walls. They’ll stay squeaky clean for weeks and no buildup. Also, makes for easy cleanup for a post-bath bomb bath!
