I love eBates & iBotta, I’ve received a lot of cashback. However, Dosh is MUCH simpler than both.
eBates I have to remember to open the app or go to the site to even start my purchase. Even the linking your card purchases, I have to remember to go to the site every month to re-link, because linking cards expires :insert eye roll: Oh and they only payout every 3 months, instead of a price cap.
iBotta is one of my top favorites, I’ve already cashed out $200.48 since starting to use the app. But it’s a SERIOUS pain. I have to scan the item to see if there is an offer, oh but the offer may only be for one store, and then after I have to scan the receipt. I try really hard to remember to scan everything at the same time I’m scanning my Target cartwheel items, that way I can get double the cashback. But I often forget, and I lose out on my money back.
Dosh is amazing, I literally just entered the cards I use often and use the card. I don’t have to go in and link offers, I don’t have to scan items, I just swipe my card that’s it!
The only downside I have to Dosh, there aren’t many shops/businesses on the app. A lot of high-end companies; Auntie Anne’s, Sophora, and Papa Johns. I’d like to see places like Target, Lush, Apple or even AT&T join in on the items.
