I have a lot of bad habits, most of which need to be broken.
However, my worst habit I really need to break; listening and saying I understand everything, but not writing it down.
I’m very guilty of taking on tasks but forgetting to write everything down. I’ll get tasks jumbled, or forget a couple minor details.
This doesn’t just fault to tasks though, I’ll run out of almond milk, go to the store four or five times before I finally remember to buy the almond milk.
Currently, I’m combating this bad habit with carrying around a notebook, writing down tasks when I get to my desk in the morning. I also use IFTTT to sync Alexa with my To Do tasks, that way I can tell her I need to do something and a reminder will pop up on my phone.
One day at a time, one day I’ll break this habit, for now, it’s one day at a time. And the help of a village to remind me I need to write things down!
