Finally caved & signed Zoie up for Amazon STEM Club Toy Subscription, and we received our first kit!
There are so many monthly subscriptions out there for kids, I did a lot of research to find the right one. A lot seemed to just be full of dollar store junk or easy free printables I could find on Pinterest. They also require yearly subscriptions, cancellation fees & I felt too expensive. Oh, and on top of your crazy subscription price you have to pay for shipping!
I know that Amazon had multiple monthly kits, the STEM Club Toy Subscription really stood out. Each toy helps introduce STEM, to the lay the foundation to continue to build on the knowledge. The kits are only $19.99 a month, no matter what age! Best part, shipping is covered by your Prime membership.
The best part, as Zoie gets older I can change the age group. If you decided to cancel no fees, you pay month by month. That means you can cancel in November to skip December and pick up again in January.
Now onto the real fun, we received our first kit; Kids First Automobile Engineer Kit. As you can see below she was really excited for her first surprise!
The Kids First Automobile Engineer Kit came with a bin full 70 chunky build pieces to build 10 different automobiles. The instruction book is actually a storybook, that follows two kids on an adventure. Different parts of the story you built different automobiles for the storyline.
Would definitely recommend the Kids First Automobile Engineer Kit. The chunky build pieces are just the right size for toddler’s hands and durable for rambunctious kids. I loved the story instruction booklet, it made Zoie feel like she was part of the story. Also, it was fun bonding time, I read the story and she built. A lot of kids kits they really just down on their own, not a lot of working together. Lastly, this kit she can build the automobiles or whatever she wants. She’s already building random items.
All and all I’d recommend both the Amazon STEM Club Toy Subscription & Kids First Automobile Engineer Kit. Check back next month when we receive our next kit!
