Tonight for dinner we enjoyed a nice simple meal of Oven Roasted Brussel Sprouts with Garlic Butter Noodles! It took less than 10 minutes to prepare everything.
Oven Roasted Brussel Sprouts
Ingredients/Tools
- 1 Bag of Fresh Brussel Sprouts
- 1/4 Cup Olive Oil
- Dash of Salt
- Dash of Pepper
- Knife
- Cutting Board
- Cookie Sheet
- Rubber Spatula
- Small Mixing Bowl
- Oven
- Oven Mitt
- Dinner Plate w/ Utensils
Directions
- Open the bag of brussel sprouts and clean
- Place clean brussel sprouts on the cutting board
- Cut brussel sprouts in half, set to the side
- In the small mixing bowl combine olive oil, salt, pepper, and mix
- Add the brussel sprouts into the mixture
- Using the rubber spatula mix until the brussel sprouts are coated
- Place coated brussel sprouts on the cookie sheet
- Bake in oven for 15 minutes on 400
- Remove, remember to use oven mitt
- Place on dinner plate and enjoy
Garlic Butter Noodles
Ingredients/Tools
- 2 Cups Noodles
- 1/2 Cup Melted Butter
- 3 Tbs. Minced Garlic
- 4 Cups Water
- Dash of Oregano
- Dash of Pepper
- Colander
- Small Mixing Bowl
- Large Pot
- Rubber Spatula
- Large Spoon
- Stove Top
- Dinner Plate w/ Utensils
Directions
- Place large pot on stovetop with water inside, place on high
- Bring water to a boil and place noodles in water
- While the noodles are cooking grab your small mixing bowl
- Inside place melted butter, minced garlic, pepper and oregano
- Using a fork mix, set mixture to the side
- Your noodles should be done cooking
- Place colander in the sink (make sure the sink is empty and clean)
- Pour the noodles in the colander
- Pour the colander of noodles back into pot
- Pour butter mixture into the pot of noodles
- Using rubber spatula, scrape the sides of the small mixing bowl
- Now stir mixture with rubber spatula
- Using the large spoon place on dinner plate and enjoy
This pair great together, both on the fork at the same time is pretty good. I’m still trying to experiment with brussel sprouts and trying to make them tastier. These were pretty tasty!
