I love making breakfast on weekend mornings, I try to always make new and different things. Just to change it up, this past weekend I made Baked Banana French Toast & it took less than 10 minutes to prepare.
Ingredients
- 2 Bananas
- 1/2 Cup Almond Milk
- 6 Slices of Wheat Bread
- 1 Tablespoon Vanilla Extract
- 3 Large Brown Eggs
- Cooking Spray
Tools
- Measuring Spoons
- Square Glass Baking Pan
- Oven
- Bowl
- Fork
- Oven Mitts
- Smoothie Maker (optional)
Instructions
- Buy your ingredients & tools
- Set all your ingredients & tools out
- Set your oven to 425, make sure the oven is empty
- Take your cooking spray and spray your glass baking pan, make sure you spray the corners well
- Grab your bread, either cut your bread into cubes or tear it, but make sure they are smaller, about 2″ X 2″
- Place the bread into the glass baking dish, spread them out & set aside
- This is the part that is optional:
- Chunked Bananas
- In the bowl combine milk, eggs & vanilla extract, mix until eggs are broken & everything combines well
- Slice bananas into mixture coat with the mixture
- Pureed Bananas
- In the Smoothie Maker combine: milk, eggs, vanilla extract & eggs
- Turn smoothie maker on until completely liquified
- Chunked Bananas
- Take either A or B and mix into the glass baking dish, making sure all of the bread is coated!!
- Place in the oven for 20 minutes, then remove with a oven mitts
- Then scoop out on to plates or bowls
- This is really good with maple syrup, also optional
