Growing up they tell you work hard, learn & do the best you can be. If you do that you are sure to go places in life.
That is seriously one of the biggest lies they tell you. Yes it is a small part. But it is seriously a popularity game in the real world.
It’s all about who you are and who you know. You could work really hard, but the person next to you knows someone and automatically noticed, even if they don’t do anything or know anything.
They throw a fit or they request something, consider it done, no matter if it hurts or messes with everyone else. It’s what they want.
They say this only happens in school, no it happens in the work places, actually more. Yes it’s completely unfair, but that’s life and the person who signs your check doesn’t care.
