So as of 12:01 ET the government has shut down.

My question is do I get to keep all the money I worked hard to earn & not have to pay a government that technically doesn’t exist right now?

But no, I guess since those awesome people who collect welfare checks, due to poor decision making, aren’t effected because they will still getting paid I will still have to pay my taxes.

But hey let’s not pay “non-essential” workers of the government, because we all know they choose to take these days off.
