Want a Coffee Chocolate Cake, but don’t have any eggs?

Well, guess what you’re in luck, a Coffee Chocolate Cake recipe that requires no eggs! Oh and the best part, the frosting doesn’t have ten pounds of sugar!

That’s enough, let’s jump in!

Coffee Chocolate Cake
  1. Pre-heat the oven to 350 F
  2. Combine dry ingredients in large bowl: spelt flour, cocoa powder, coconut sugar, baking soda, sea salt & coffee
  3. Mix dry ingredients with the whisk, and set to the side
  4. In the mixing bowl combine: vanilla, almond milk, and coconut oil
  5. Turn mixer on 3, slowly add in the dry ingredients
    • Watch to not get to close to the whisk when pouring, or the dry contents will go everywhere. Would recommend a dry mixer guard, click here.
  6. Mix ingredients until even and smooth
  7. Spray cake pan with cooking spray, make sure to spray the sides & corners
  8. Turn off mixer & pour cake batter into the cake pan
  9. Place cake in the oven for 15-20 minutes
  10. Using the cake tester to make sure the cake is cooked
  11. Set the cake to the side to cool, once cool add spread frosting on top
  12. Enjoy
Peanut Butter Frosting
  1. In the mixing bowl add together maple syrup, peanut butter, almond milk, vanilla, and coconut oil
  2. Turn mixer on 3 and slowly add in spelt flour
  3. Mix until smooth
  4. Add to cake
  5. Enjoy
