We enjoyed a nice warm grilled cheese with a spicy twist on this rainy night.

This recipe makes 4 Spicy Avocado Grilled Cheese. I really wish I had time to make homemade tomato soup, maybe sometime soon, be on the lookout.

Ingredients/Tools

Directions

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 400, make sure the oven is empty
  2. Place the avocados on cutting board, cut in half with the knife
  3. Discard the seed
  4. Using the spoon scoop the inside of the avocado into the bowl, repeat for second avocado
  5. Add garlic salt, pepper, salt & Sriracha
  6. Mix with spoon, make sure the avocado is mashed and everything is thoroughly mixed
  7. Set the mixture aside
  8. Place the slices of bread on the cooking sheet; make sure they are next to each other and not on top of each other.
  9. Spray the bread with a light coating of cooking spray
  10. Flip the bread, spray this side with a light layer of cooking spray
  11. On four pieces of bread add cheese
  12. On the other four scoop a nice helping of the avocado mixture on top
  13. Using the rubber spatula spread the mixture evenly and all the bread is covered
  14. Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes or until desired bread crispness
  15. Remove from the oven with the ovenmitt
  16. Turn off the oven
  17. Using the cooking turner place the cheese piece of bread on top of the avocado side, remember cheese should touch avocado, the plain bread side out
  18. Using the coming turner place on dinner plate
  19. Now let cool and enjoy!
