I love making breakfast on weekend mornings, I try to always make new and different things. Just to change it up, this past weekend I made Baked Banana French Toast & it took less than 10 minutes to prepare.

Ingredients

  • 2 Bananas
  • 1/2 Cup Almond Milk
  • 6 Slices of Wheat Bread
  • 1 Tablespoon Vanilla Extract
  • 3 Large Brown Eggs
  • Cooking Spray

Tools

  • Measuring Spoons
  • Square Glass Baking Pan
  • Oven
  • Bowl
  • Fork
  • Oven Mitts
  • Smoothie Maker (optional)

Instructions

  1. Buy your ingredients & tools
  2. Set all your ingredients & tools out
  3. Set your oven to 425, make sure the oven is empty
  4. Take your cooking spray and spray your glass baking pan, make sure you spray the corners well
  5. Grab your bread, either cut your bread into cubes or tear it, but make sure they are smaller, about 2″ X 2″
  6. Place the bread into the glass baking dish, spread them out & set aside
  7. This is the part that is optional:
    1. Chunked Bananas
      1. In the bowl combine milk, eggs & vanilla extract, mix until eggs are broken & everything combines well
      2. Slice bananas into mixture coat with the mixture
    2. Pureed Bananas
      1. In the Smoothie Maker combine: milk, eggs, vanilla extract & eggs
      2. Turn smoothie maker on until completely liquified
  8. Take either A or B and mix into the glass baking dish, making sure all of the bread is coated!!
  9. Place in the oven for 20 minutes, then remove with a oven mitts
  10. Then scoop out on to plates or bowls
  11. This is really good with maple syrup, also optionalBaked Banana French Toast
