Who doesn’t love asparagus? Why not crunchy lemon garlic asparagus?
Ingredients/Tools needed
- 1 Pizza Stone
- 1 Glass Baking Dish (I use an 8×8 inch cake pan)
- 1 Sheet of aluminum foil
- 1 Mixing bowl
- 1 Whisk or fork
- 1 Pair of tongs
- 1 Knife
- 1/4 Cup Olive Oil (Coconut oil work stoo)
- 2 Tablespoons minced garlic
- 1/2 Cup lemon juice
- Dash of Salt
- Pepper
- 1 Oven
Directions
- Wash asparagus
- Trim ends of asparagus (1/2 Inch)
- Place asparagus in glass baking dish.
- Move the asparagus to the side
- In the mixing bowl mix together Olive Oil, garlic, lemon juice & salt
- Pour the mixture over top of your asparagus, make sure the asparagus is evenly coated (you can also use a baking brush)
- Place in the fridge for 4-8 hours, cover with aluminum foil (make sure to recycle the aluminum foil after). The longer the better to marinate
- Pre-heat the oven to 425
- Then using the tongs place the asparagus on the pizza stone, make sure to not overlap the asparagus & then sprinkle pepper on top
- Place in the oven for 20-30 minutes, or until crunchy
- Use tongs again to place on serving dish or plate, make sure to remove the pizza stone with oven mitts
