Three ingredients that are amazing for cooking, cleaning & even better for your body, inside and out.

For so many different reasons I love all ingredients, together or separate. I have issues with black heads on my nose and it really creeps me out. Just about every face wash makes my skin dry, red or just makes it sore. While in college my black heads got worse and I didn’t know what to do & I looked online for what to do. Once a week (with your face damp) you should take a palm full of baking soda and a dab of water to make a paste, rub it all over your face, let it sit for at least 15 minutes. For me I just soak in the tub for awhile and relax. Then just wash it off with warm water and then some cold. Your face will be seriously soft!! I do it every other week no, my blackheads aren’t that bad anymore.

It’s winter time & red irritated scalp with dandruff is very common. The best thing I’ve found to use is about a half cup of baking soda, a 1/4 lemon juice and a 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar, stir all together it will fix so use a bigger bowl. Then rub if on your scalp, make sure you get it all over your scalp. You’ll have to sleep with it in, either you can just use a different pillow case or put a shower cap on. It gets pasty and like sand so a shower cap will probably be better. The redness will go away and your scalp will finally be able to breath with getting all that dead scalp off!!

Another thing, flu & cold seasons coming, I’m allergic to the flu shot, so I usually have to suck it up. Take one cup of apple juice (no sugar added, Simply Apple is the best) or water, a diced apple, teaspoon of cinnamon & throw it all in a pot boil for about 10 minutes and then drink. It helps with tummy aches, colds, gas, sinus relief, etc. We use this all the time for different reliefs.

There are a million other uses for those ingredients, I’m sure I’ll post more, but enjoy.
